Biography: Jim Belanger practices White Collar and Criminal Defense, Lawyer Liability and Discipline including State Bar matters, Death Penalty Defense, and Commercial and Bankruptcy Litigation. 

His cases, including several complex civil and criminal trials, have involved securities violations, mortgage and bank fraud, antitrust violations, RICO, health care fraud, qui tam and False Claims Act violations, various civil, criminal and administrative environmental claims, bankruptcy fraud and Chapter 11 adversary proceedings, allegations of consumer fraud and predatory lending, parallel proceedings, first degree and capital murder, forfeiture, government and internal investigations, special prosecution for state regulators, and professional and licensee misconduct including State bar matters.

Mr. Belanger is an adjunct Professor of Law at Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law where he teaches White Collar Criminal Process. Before joining the firm, he was a Partner in the Phoenix office of Lewis and Roca LLP, where he was the Chair of the Criminal Defense and Government Investigations Group.
